I wanted to be the mighty sailor-I wanted to conquer every sea 

I wanted to fly high like the eagle-I wanted to be 

anyone but me... 

I wanted to be the mighty hero- I wanted to set the people free 

I wanted to take that giant leap, for mankind- but not as me; 

anyone but me... 

I wanted to go back to the Garden, to put back the fruit on the Forbidden Tree 

I wanted to walk upon the waters, so I could heal myself of me 

Down came the lightning and the thunder, speaking Words that made me fear 

Saying, "Go down to a land that I will show you ,where you can be 

anyone but Me".... 

Spend all my time, looking for the doorway 

Nearly lost my mind, trying to do it your way 

I couldn't find the key, could not unlock the mystery 

Because I didn't want to see that I didn't want to be

anyone but me.
